    GSPRA has been awarded a "Mark of Distinction" by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). The organization was recognized for its 2022 Fall Conference.

    This recognition recognizes the efforts of state chapters in supporting NSPRA’s mission of building support for education through responsible public relations that leads to success for all students. GSPRA was also an NSPRA Exemplary Chapter in 2015, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

  • 2025 GSPRA Publications & Peach Awards Contest

    The Georgia School Public Relations Association (GSPRA) is excited to announce its annual Publications and Peach Awards! These statewide awards recognize outstanding work in school communications, from print publications and photography to strategic campaigns and community engagement initiatives.

    This year's contest runs from July 18 to August 22, 2025, and is open to GSPRA members only. Eligible entries must have been produced between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025.

    Submissions will be accepted through the OpenWater platform, with winners announced at the 2025 GSPRA Annual Conference on Tuesday, October 21. Please note that payment for entries must be submitted by check or money order.

    We encourage you to share your best work and gain well-deserved recognition for your efforts to support students, families, and communities across Georgia.

  • 2024 GSPRA Award Winners

    Congratulations to the winners of GSPRA’s 2024 awards! We are proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our members in the field of public relations and school communications.

    Marie Wofford Professional Award - School Communicator of the Year
    Kendra Pannell, Dalton Public Schools
    This award honors a member for their outstanding work in public relations. It is named after Marie Wofford, a cherished member who passed away in 2007.

    Anne Raymond Distinguished Service Award
    Hayley Greene, Bulloch County Schools
    This award recognizes dedication and service to GSPRA and the profession, named after GSPRA founder Anne Raymond.

    Outstanding Leadership in School/Community Relations Award
    Nick Sun, Dalton Public Schools
    This award is given to an individual who has excelled in building support for public education through effective school and community relations.
