GSPRA Listserv: An essential item for a PR toolbox!

GSPRA's listserv wants you! A wonderful opportunity for instant communications, the listserv is simply a network of email addresses. A single email is posted to the listserv address which in turn broadcasts the message to every listserv subscriber.

Example:
Your Board is considering a change in its grading policy. You are asked to find out what other schools and school districts are doing. You draft an email, post it to the listserv, it is forwarded to all subscribing GSPRAns throughout the state and within minutes you begin receiving responses. Your Board is amazed, they give you a big raise and all it took was one email. How can you afford to live without this?

How to subscribe:
The Glynn County School System hosts the GSPRA listserv. To subscribe, send a message to gspra@glynn.k12.ga.us. In the subject box, type one word "subscribe." You do not have to type anything in the message box. It's that easy! Once you have subscribed, you can send and receive messages. Just remember, when you send a message it is going to everyone subscribed to the listserv. Do not use the listserv for personal messages.

REMINDER: Listserv does not support attachments or HTML formatted e-mail. Do NOT send attached documents on the listserv. Plain text e-mail is preferred. Also, when responding to a posted message, please respond to the sender "off list" and not to gspra@glynn.k12.ga.us.
